Stuffing

Ethan Switch - Monday, 20 May, 2002 - Print Version

Big boxes and small contents will inevitably bring copious amounts of stuffing to any party they themselves are invited to. When 'stuffing' is thrown about in passing or as a casual topic in relation to bubble wrap the first images to mind are usually that of the white squashed Cheezels variety.

The stuffing in this case is of a cylindrical appearance with a wholemeal hue. On running a sample under the olfactory it sparked bouts of confusion. In one instance it smelt faintly of corn chips, on another it was reminiscent of flavoured rice cakes. All up though, there was a definite hint of edibility.

As a member of the stuffing species it is been justifiably dogged with threats of extinction. Perhaps in a freaky evolutionary kind of way it sports holes not unlike that of the kind seen on Swiss cheese. The holes give an illusion of fullness to an otherwise anorexic charge while also adding that extra dimension of safety for the contents in which it surrounds during transport.

Personally, the urge to taste test was strong. The unknown levels of toxicity kept in mind some semblance of reality and judgement, unfortunately it also means that a possibly important aspect in factoring in a choice for a light snack is missing. The better alternative would definitely be that of the much widely consumed popcorn.

Stuffing is stuffing and should be reviewed with stuffing in mind. Since I still have a slight desire to pop it in my mouth and snack, I cannot give it the praise it thinks it deserves.

Articles and all that more wordy stuff

Where in Kentucky - Mammoth Cave National Park
Monstrously, and seemingly neverending, sitting under the home ground of Colonel Sanders, the world's largest cave system. Yucatan comes nowhere close. Not even Cocklebiddy poses a threat. No comparison. Small holes looking up at a big fat long one. Sadly, with possible age and lack of food, no minotaurs to be found within the lime walls.
Homebrew Diary - Wheatbeer of misery
If what can turn a foul mood around becomes the harbinger of the foul mood, what happens next? Turn it into a learning experience. And when that learning curve makes a late break over the plate, you'd better start to swing away.
Homebrew Diary - Blackrock IPA + Hops
It doesn't take a big man to admit that he drinks. It takes a big man to get wasted and perform impromptu sermons naked from a balcony; raving upon the ravages of the insanity of stata bylaws and noisy offspring in adjoining arpartments...
